Just me and the trees, out with Mother Nature, with a few flowers that followed along. The day is new, and I know that nothing quite beats the very first sun and shine of the day, peering out of the vagueness, at the break of dawn. A moment in time, so splendid and true, gone almost before it happens, just for this instant, it lives on in my mind as extraordinary. How can you not love the beauty of nature? Without fail, giving us their very best - every single day. I breathe deep and take it all in, leaving no breath behind. The day,so glorious in the morning shine, resistance is futile and I run straight into the sunshine, the soft breeze blowing through the loose ends.
Today is #TreeTuesday with @Old-Guy-Photos! I am a day late and a dollar short, but, somewhere, out there, is a time zone that still says Tuesday.
This was before the last cherry blossom fell. It was a strange spring for all the flowering trees, but, nevertheless, blossom time is a truly magic time of year. They bloom in stages and at the end of their time, the cherry blossoms rain petals, covering everything in a beautiful layer of pink or white.

I kept thinking that the magnolias were over, but, then I wouls see a few more. This was the last I got to see doing the dance of the Magnolias. It has been a truly long spring for them. They are truly my favorite flowering tree... Well, fairly, it is one of. There are so many beautiful ones, but, I would have to say, this is definitely one of the most elegant.
To be fair, this is another, equally as elegant, Magnolia. This could be classified as majestic. Trees are God's gift to Denise. I love my trees!
The battlefield, where it was earlier a place of activity, goes to bed early, to be ready for the very next day. Some of my favorite trees are there, no doubt waiting for me to pass them in the morning. Do you have favorite trees? I know I do.

Another day of trees! I want to thank @Old-Guy-Photos for hosting the #TreeTuesday challenge. Where would we be without nature at our fingertips? For you, I leave you with flowers, to color your world. #alwaysaflower
All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.
The Naming of Cats
The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,
It isn’t just one of your holiday games;
You may think at first I’m as mad as a hatter
When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.
