Ohhhh! Hatch Chili! Now we are talking! The first time I ever put that chili in my mouth was at the Hatch Chili Festival, in Hatch New Mexico! I lived in Alamagordo, New Mexico and we were looking for some Labor Day fun! Is the festival this weekend or next and do they still have it? Those long strings of dried chilis that you see roadside were one of my favorite gifts to pick up for family and friends!
Yes! Party is at Tom's house!
Oh, I would say I forget how hot it is there, but Yuma is exactly as you say. Hotter at night than most people high for the day. I'm ashamed to say that I thought the Phoenix area was gross in the summer, still hot and sweaty at night, and no comparison to you! Do you know we bought a summer house on the Canadian border because of living in New Mexico, Texas, and then Arizona?
Oh, lettuce will be way high in price this winter for sure. Those new water restrictions are just in time. The A/C man will be here tomorrow. I am only 93 today and for the rest of the week. It has been a pretty warm summer, but, it does cool down a bit at night, so not too bad.
Thanks for stopping by, Tom! @bigtom13
