Pier 1 Imports is seeking court approval to shut down its business completely, it said in a press release on Tuesday. The home goods retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in February. In January, it said it would close about half of its stores — or about 450 locations — for good

So, yes. Boo... So many businesses will be closed I'm afraid. I know people that have already lost their small businesses. I do love this store and they have remained open through the entire pandemic, although only the nursery part. It is my garden shop and they didn't have this part open, but, you could take pictures of it. :)
