I stepped into the day for my #WednesdayWalk with 
It is no big secret that I love flowers and one of my favorite places is Merryfield Garden Center. Wait, let's stop and smell the flowers. Take your time through life, and enjoy those moments...Anyway, Merryfield...They have three stores in the Washington, DC Metro area, and I chose the one located at 8132 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC. They have an antique truck that they are always doing fun things with. Today, they loaded it up and decorated it for spring. Hello? Are you still walking or are you still looking at that truck?
This is the sign they take along when they do a show somewhere or perhaps have a booth in one of the farmer's markets. Many of the workers there are related to the owner, then many others have worked there forever and a day. Does anyone really know how long that is?
The sell plants, trees, cut flowers are something they have now and again... I want to look at them, the freshness of Spring tempting the air. So many coming today. They must know it is a day made for walking. Plus, it is Spring!
I go through the hothouse and look at these beautiful begonias, double begonias, actually. I won't be able to put these in today, but, perhaps I can in a few weeks. Today is simply beautiful and my little piece of the world is a happy place to be. Pour on the sunshine. Be the reason that someone smiles today.
The place is large and filled with the newness that Spring brings. It was a great time to take a #WedensdaayWalk and get a look at what will be needed to add to my garden this year. I am sure I will bring you back here again and again. What?? Did I hear you say you are tired of flowers? Don't you know it is #alwaysaflower with me?
All of their locations are dog friendly, making the walk even more fun. Thank you so much for coming along with me. We walked long enough to clock in 3.7 miles. That is 6km for you people on the other side of the big pond.
Today this post is dedicated to #WednesdayWalk by @Tattoodjay. I want to thank him for hosting this challenge! I like to stroll about, taking in nature and life. What better way to document my day than to take a walk through life? My favorite! Living life and walking. How can you go wrong with that combination?
They had a whole section of different landscaping options. I am a visual person, so I like to see what they have for sale as opposed to just having it described to me.
