It has come. In all of its glory, the autumn has arrived, leaving no leaf behind. There was conversing with my soul, calling out the destiny of her demise, to be beautiful. She is, so beautiful to me.
From all that makes sense
To that place
Where it can be
Just you and me and the mystery
Of life
The song of your words in my ear
Blowing so close; I feel your breath
Sensing my need
To sleep, sleep, sleep
The scent of autumn favors you, the beauty is embellished by the stirring of my heart, the changes, falling into the seasonal changes, awaiting the reward of rest, until the renewal, once again.
It can be so capricious, this thing called fall, coming in waves rather than a calendar change. While some lay barren already, most have kept the green, slowing making the seasonal shift.
There is an air of consolation in the air, lessening the blow of moving from here to there, giving over to the magnificence of color, letting the sumptuous jewel tones take over.
Even in the colors of a different rainbow, it is #alwaysaflower to me. There will always be a flower to color my world.
Lest you forget, Autumn is here. I welcome the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, and I have no doubt, we will wish it to stay longer.
I knew before I saw you
Your brush will color the turn
The warmth of summer into fall
From the tallest on the top
To the very bottom of them. I can breathe
Fresh air, once, all over again
All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.
And just like that, this post is over. Come back tomorrow and we'll do it again. Have a most amazing day!
The Naming of Cats
The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,
It isn’t just one of your holiday games;
You may think at first I’m as mad as a hatter
When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.
