So peaceful, the day is, without nary a sound, save for me as I whisper into the wind. Covered by the blanket of snow, I can feel the delicate layers caressing the trees. It settles softly, as it falls down.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
The falling of snow, snow falling. There happens to be a real word for it. The word is shinshin. Go ahead. Use in a sentence, I know you want to. Two hive for the most creative, chosen by me on the payout of this post.

The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
