Ah so the military is less likely to hassle you if you're travelling with a dog? That's interesting. We don't have military checkpoints here, but in some places the police will stop people at certain times

Very interested in what kind of a machine that is? At first I thought it was a mainframe or server, or something to do with Hive. But it appears to be in a shop for manufacturing or maybe even automotive

Merry Christmas! It's wonderful to have your mother, and family in general. Christmas without the women of the family is never the same. My grandmother was the center that brought my family together for

We don't have it for general use though. You can't log into most sites with Hive like you can with those others. It's a blessing and a curse though because it's extremely convenient, but further centralizes

Very good mix of news. I have only had bad luck with Openshot, but I'll still give 3.0 a try. I wasn't aware of Web MIDI, but I don't really use Firefox anymore. I feel like it's probably also available

Why not use KDE Neon? It's the latest and greatest from KDE, and it's I think the official KDE. And it is also Ubuntu. Are you using Nivida or AMD GPU? And what sort of problems do you run into with discrete

Very cool stuff. It's awesome to see someone who's an engineer of the DAW publishing their own music. Also it's been a while since I heard someone mention 432Hz. I know of a certain pianist who found out

Oh absolutely I think the Hive blockchain should be available as an SQL db.

Yes, I ended up missing the month of November which was a sort of deadline as I try to have one video per month. And even then, one a month is less than optimal for Youtube's algorithm to promote a channel.

Wow unreal.

Great work. I really need to give Fedora another try. I haven't used it since I think Fedora 21 or 23? It was my 2nd distro ever and I installed it on a laptop. I knew very little about Linux at the time,

You know my Sinks and Sources automatically start when I start JACK too. I often stop it and switch devices, and they start with that too. I forget why it happens though, but it also persists through reboots.

Yeah I thought it was interesting that he was clearly pleading for sell offs as if looking out for everyone else's interests. It feels like there's some personal motivations, but I don't know him either

That makes sense, but then again I must ask why he feels so negatively affected by relatively low downvote ratio? Perhaps they are from high stake users?

So glad I saw this video. I've never found a need to use Wayland, and I haven't followed it close enough to know if they've fixed anything. AND Ive only used Pipewire when I did a video on Pop_OS, but

I was just looking at his posts, and there's a majority of upvotes. I'll admit, I'm somewhat ignorant when it comes to Hive's structure & I find it to be much more complex than any other social site

Appreciate the work you guys do.

Well thank you. It's not the typical song I make, and I wouldn't consider it specially technical either. I am also a fan of rock music, but it's better recorded than produced with software. Particularly

So is XRP a liability or an asset? I've seen people say both, but I don't know where to get XRP either. Anyone recommend a good exchange for Monero/XRP? Or just in general? I'm a Coinbase user, and I don't

You're absolutely right with that observation about people's projection and yearning for the future. I've often thought about this too that when I was younger it felt like everyone had more excitement
