有人说纽西兰是一个大自然的户外健身室，说得一点也不过分，而且非常的贴切。这里一般白天温度都在摄氏二十度左右，冬天十一二度，夏天顶多二十七八度。除了下雨天，天气温度一般都是很温和，在户外做运动是舒服的。 上星期五自己拿了一天小假，带了山地脚车（自行车）去了位于十五公里外的Hutt River河岸骑脚车去。当天气温十五度，不冷不热。 Hutt 河水向惠灵顿港口流去。 骑累了可以停下来在hutt

考虑了几个星期，最后我们还是决定去Wairarapa的Masterton小镇度一个小假。Masterton对我们并不陌生，这已经是我们第二次到这小镇度假。Masterton位于Tatarua Range脚下，虽然由惠灵顿去区区的一个小时半车程，要去那个地方必须经过崎岖的Rimutaka Range山路，会晕车的人如果不开车，只往窗外看，肯定会晕车。哈！

纽西兰盛产葡萄酒在全球尽人皆知，尤其Martinborough Wine便是其中一个获奖无数，小有名气的葡萄酒。酿制葡萄酒当然需要葡萄的供应，而葡萄园在纽西兰触目皆是。 Martinborough是一个位于Wairarapa的一个小镇，离开Masterton也只有43公里。这地方地平如掌，四季气候温和，阳光充足，是适合栽种葡萄的好地方。

[纽西兰] 惠灵顿骑脚车的好去处
Pencarrow Head是纽西兰第一个建立灯塔的地方，历史可以追踪到19世纪1859年。它是当年唯一照明惠灵顿海口的灯塔。时过境迁，旧灯塔已经拆除，而如今的灯塔是在1906年和1936年重建的。最近我开车去Eastbourne小镇，在Burden Gate Shed那儿租了部mountain bike朝着Pencarrow Head骑去。
