Rain drizzles into the leaf-blown street.
The bus stop beckons.
Exhaustion creeps.
Cars and people
hum and chatter.
How can I but
ignore it all.
Yet clear and sharp, a melody sings:
Flamenco played on acoustic strings.
Disembodied sounds
bounce off sandstone walls,
A siren song it calls...
Sweet and clear,
golden tones
clothe the dull street's lifeless bones.
Transcendence.
