What would be your best life, if you could choose to live it now?
Travelling (once COVID takes a hike) and seeing the world?
Or are you more of a fast cars and super-yacht kind of person? Beautiful boy/girlfriend? Partying all night long?
Perhaps, instead, more mundane choices would take priority: paying off the mortgage, spending more time with your children (every second seems to strip away another aspect of childhood), having time to do more things you find fulfilling - for me, that would be writing (words and ideas), playing and writing music, being creative, being happy. Maybe more find time to sit on the back deck and listen to music, beer in hand?
I think it's pretty obvious where I'm at from the question alone.
Priorities certainly change as age increases and responsibilities expand beyond one's own immediate interests.
But everyone would necessarily have a unique take on how to answer this question, and a multitude of answers would provide a dizzying rainbow of ideas to make humans happy.
Strange it is to contemplate how it takes very different things to make different people satisfied and happy.
May all beings be happy.
