Let me off of this here train

Tuesdays feel like Thursdays
Thursdays feel like rain
Mondays send a shiver

Let me off of this here train

Wednesdays drag like Mondays
Fridays start with pain
It couldn't get much grimmer

Let me off of this here train

'Cause the sun still shines outside these walls
The rain still brings new life
Somewhere the joy of living still resides

And I try but it ain't here
I cry out but no-one hears
Over the system's breathless jeers
Someone, please

Let me off of this here train

Wheels grind on and on and on
As the fun runs out again
the tracks ahead are endless

Let me off of this here train
Let me off of this here train
