The future, hopefully, is bright for those of us waiting (and waiting) for crypto to take hold in the general population. A lot of us - me included, truth be told - expected great things from 2018. Well, it looks like this was a misplaced hope.
But 2019 is shaping up to be different, and here's why.
The excitement of late 2017 early 2018 was hype, based upon the hope and expectations of blockchain technology.
There were (in my view) elements of truth in the mix, but there was also a lot of FOMO - fear of missing out.
However, while it may look like 2018 was a wasted year for crypto, I believe history will show it as a year of consolidation. The blockchains that will make it through the next few years have been hard at work developing the digital infrastructure and capabilities needed to scale up to a speed and usage rate needed for them to achieve mass adoption.
And if you believe the multiple podcasts and youtube channels, EOS has been at the forefront of this activity (and don't forget the launch of Worbli this week!).
I'm looking forward to some exciting times!
