A good rule of thumb for storytelling, is to make things as bad for your main characters as possible. Never stop throwing bad shit at them! Think about Spiderman-2, Peter Parker loses his bullshit job, can't pay for his awful apartment, is flunking out of school in spite of being brilliant, and gets dumped by the love of his life - and THEN he loses his powers. How much can a man take?!
So in issues 4 and 5 I really put Harvey and Rosie through the wringer. Harvey gets trapped and then killed in 1890, a police raid begins at The Band Wagon speakeasy as Rosie comes down from a powerful hallucinogen with a dead man in her dressing room - high stakes!
