Ithaqa Comic Issue 4 - Roughs Page 15 - Further Down The Rabbit (Worm)Hole
I can NOT get enough of these off-model drawings, it looks so weird and unearthly. For years I worried about sending this issue off to Theresa because I felt that the things I was dreaming up would be miserable to translate into comic form - but it turns out I was wrong!
Theresa seems to be having a really fun time drawing things in new ways, and she's doing a great job bucking traditional paneling formats as well! I will re-iterate what I said yesterday though, because not many people seemed to catch that post: If you're a writer you should be building a comprehensive visual reference folder as your write each issue. No one can read your mind and you really can't go overkill enough when it comes to showing your artist what you have in mind.
