Cannabis is legalized in Canada, not legal. Tens of thousands of Canadians are still in prison for peacefully growing, selling, and using cannabis. There are more laws against cannabis now than there were before "legalization", which really is just a corporate monopoly backed by government violence. Now you can go to jail for 14 years, not just 2. Prohibition is ten times worse now than it was a few years ago, more people are suffering, the courts are even more clogged, prisons are even fuller, and those who profited off prohibition for the past 80 years are now the only ones legally allowed to participate in the "legalized" market.
