These rolling green grassy hills, interrupted by red rocks are simply majestic. Not far from the infamous Red Rocks Amphitheater outside of Denver, CO, you can't help but stop in awe.
It happened to be a beautiful blue sky with intermittent while clouds above. And because it's borderline high desert, a dry climate, you can see some cactus like plants pop up out of the grass like a mini spiked explosion.
If you're ever in Denver, head west towards the mountains. You won't be disappointed!
