We are currently entering a new level of consciousness "2nd Tier" (according to spiral dynamics). The change that will be taking place over the next 3-12 years will be more drastic than what change we've had from the beginning of humanity until now.
So far can see evidence of some major shifts (whether good or bad is not what we're talking about - we're just observing change):
Energy that has been bound is becoming unbound, which is why money, education and information will change so drastically. The 2% that control most of the world's money, power and information is holding on to bound energy. Once energy becomes bound enough, it can only go in one direction - out. We can barely begin to imagine what information is being suppressed, what technologies are being hoarded, what abundance is available to everyone, what knowledge we can freely access...
We have never been through a change like this before, so we have no concept of what it will actually be like.
