There are definitely piles of creatives still here, hoping to fulfill the early promise of making art and getting paid by the blockchain. The difference is now said blockchain is basically called PAL and my fingers are massively crossed. I think the single most important thing for steem right now is getting communities -ACHING- for upvote love (like the @DSound and @DTube regulars) infront of people on some sort of controlled trending page. These DApps are immediately familiar for users of Soundcloud and Youtube and make the onboarding process massively less overwhelming.
