It is a hill near Porangahau, south of Waipukurau in southern Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. It's height is 305 meters. The hill has been recorded as the place with the world's longest name, consisting of 85 characters. source
I can imagine if people are living there. I almost feel sorry for them when it comes to writing down their address 😅. But that's not even all. Let's talk about the meaning of the name of the place.
According to this source, it means "The summit where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, the slider, climber of mountains, the land-swallower who travelled about, played his kōauau (flute) to his loved one"
There's also a longer version of the name called "Taumata-whakatangihanga-koauau-o-Tamatea-haumai-tawhiti-ure-haea-turi-pukaka-piki-maunga-horo-nuku-pokai-whenua-ki-tana-tahu" consisting of 105 characters which means "the hill of the flute playing by Tamatea – who was blown hither from afar, had a slit penis, grazed his knees climbing mountains, fell on the earth, and encircled the land – to his beloved one"
