Hey everyone, how are you all doing? So, I'm sorta new to Hive- let's just say a month with not much activity- and today I just happened to stumble upon the crypto community I've been looking for.

Okay, don't mind the title of this post. It isn't a cry for help (or is it)? I'm a total newbie when it comes to crypto, so that's why I'm here. I'm affirmative that I'll bathe myself with crypto topics here all day.

I just wish I could find where to begin from. Well, I guess I'll start somewhere. This community is awesome. I'm expecting to meet crypto enthusiasts and cryptoholics here.

Oh, I forgot to mention my name. Of course I could edit this post right now and put it at the beginning but here seems alright too. My name is Ifeanyi. I'm a Nigerian and I'm 17 years old. I would love to know you all around here too.

I first heard about the term cryptocurrency when I was in the 4th grade. Actually, I didn't even think much about it then (cause durrh, I was just a kid). But anywho, I started getting a more clear idea about the whole crypto world when I turned 15 or so. If you'd asked me then what crypto is, I'd just tell you that it's internet coins. My knowledge on it was so vague. My browser would constantly feed me ads on earning Bitcoin and the likes, and it always pissed me off.

why are you interrupting my movie

Crypto was too popular to just ignore. I'd always hear my brothers and my friends talking about it and I'd feel like the odd one in the room. I heard about mining coins and I tried doing that on my phone, but I messed up. So I've been learning stuff about crypto for some time now and that's how I landed on the Hive blockchain.

I've literally been in this community for not up to two hours and I've become wholly excited. So, I decided to cook up this short post.

I know my journey here will be worthwhile.

Thank you.

Let's Go Hive!
