Y'ello what's good people? Hope you all are cool. Hope your families are all doing well? Happy Sunday (that's the day I'm writing this). May God alone be praised in everything, Amen.
So, my last post on banana and groundnut got me wondering 馃...
Do you eat the skins of fried groundnut too (or am I just not normal)?
Omo...
My mum will buy fried groundnut and will now start peeling off the skin which she will now later throw away later. I'm like, why?!
So tell me, are you among the groundnut skin haters or the groundnut skin eaters? I'm a proud skin eater oh. Okay I know some people that eat groundnut skins too but they're not as much as the people that like peeling it off. They even call it chaff. How cruel馃槕. So today I've come to stand in the gap of all groundnut skin eaters to say...
Groundnut skin lives matter too you know.
Please na, stop treating the main groundnut seeds as if they're very special while the skins are treated like trash. They're crying out. Yes, I can hear them馃檪
And besides, have you heard of the nutrients they give? I mean, we're talking
- Antioxidants
- Phytochemicals
- Resveratrol
Although I don't seem to have any idea what those three mean, I think antioxidants have something to do with relieving stress. So think about how much stress you could be relieving by eating a whole bottle of, let's say about 1500 groundnut seeds with their skins on!
Woah, that's 1500 groundnut seeds' worth of stress reduced馃ぉ
My point?
Before you peel off your groundnut skins next time, you can come back and read up this post and remember that you could be saving a lot more stress.
Please, don't harm 'em skins. No pressure 馃敧. So tell me, do you eat or throw away fried groundnut skins?
Thank you.
