Hello Steemians! The shed has made some good progress today. Below is the shot that I left you with from yesterday. The walls, floors, and roof went up pretty quick and in one day’s work.

By the end of this second day both the walls and floors have been painted. The ceiling and walls were painted with a coat of white paint that prevents both mold and waterproofs the wood. The shot below is painting of the walls being done. Painting is a much slower process than getting the walls and roof up. But, this is a needed step so that the shed gets some good usage out of it.

The second shot below is that of the floor being painted with a sealant. This is intended to help with high use of the shed. The paint when dry is textured and is what is used both for deck covering as well was application to concrete.

I’m assuming that there will be another coat going up on the walls and ceiling tomorrow. Also coming is the roof covering. Shingles will probably be the low cost option for them. Being up north, they want the dark shingles to help with snow melt in the winter. But, they could change things up with me as they haven’t finalized it yet. Stay tuned for more updates on the shed build!
