Hello all! As I’ve been enjoying what remains left of the summer, my parents decided to make a storage shed. To my knowledge the storage shed is for tools and supplies they want to move out of the garage. They live in a remote area of the Pacific Northwest and have their nice little plot of land. Both my parents have a pretty amazing view of some mountain ranges in the Olympic National Park. Now that I’m thinking about it more, the shed is for my parent’s garden. My dad and I have discussed eating healthier and natural foods. And, my discussion finally got him moving forward to get his garden going. He has been doing well and recently had a decent haul from his garden the other day. I’ll probably have a couple of images up later about the garden and then about the first harvest. There is something about eating the food you grow that makes it taste better.
As I was looking at the shed construction it made me think of the time that I was big into following the tiny home movement. My mind wandered into how the shed could be weather proofed. And, I was thinking about how a Franklin stove could be added to add heat and instead of having a larger door, having a door and window put in. My mind wandered into what-if scenarios. But, there is honestly no way that I would be able to get that anywhere near that situation. Then again, I commonly see that this storage shed would be very nice accommodations in certain parts of the world. So, see the shed makes me feel grateful in a roundabout way.
But, I was watching the shed being built and thought it was pretty cool. Enjoy the pics!
