Hey Actifiters!
It's been quite a while since I've posted. Which also means it's been a while since I've done much to be active.
It started pulling a muscle in my back 2 weeks ago. That made it hard to do much. Then as I was recovering pretty well from that, I had a work trip out to Atlanta for last week. And got home on Saturday. I am sure glad to be back at home.
Yesterday was a busy day, and today has been pretty busy as well. But now that my back is fairly well normal, I'm working to get back on track with regular exercise. I worked through my lunch and then did my typical lunch break walk. The past couple weeks really have gotten me out of a routine, so trying to figure out how to get myself moving forward again. Again. Throwing my back out was a bit of a wake up call that I really need to spend time working on flexibility and muscle tone. As I've thought about past couple days, I can see there's sort of an issue with my priorities. I Am tired in the mornings. So reluctant to try and wake up earlier for time to stretch then, but on the other side of the day, by the time I get the kids in bed and whatever chores need done around the house I'm often too tired. But like I said, I think it's a matter of priorities. I want to be healthy long-term so I need to do something to make that happen.
Well, enough on that and on to what I am doing right. Which is the walk I took today. It was really cold out, but I was grateful to be up and moving well again. On I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to walk today. It surely was a beautiful day.
