First things first, I wanna say you don't have to call this a short story because it ain't a short story in anyway, this is a long and captivating story and I was filled with intrigue and suspense until I read the last sentence of the story.

Well, I can never be in support of violence and a man bullying a woman that's his wife.

But Verenice should have been sure she was ready to spend the rest of her life with such a man before tying the not with him, I mean when you notice a bad character from someone before marriage, you can't expect that person to change when you have married the person.

It's all good though, I guess everything happens for a reason.
