What it means to be a broke ass.
Damn, am I a poor person? That is a big emphatic YES!!
I live in a way whereby, I can afford to eat something, or I can afford to buy some needed item like shoes. Not both at any given time.
How does a broke ass get into the crypto game? Well I have been playing in the faucets collecting dust, shifting almost microscopic amounts into tokens. I will say one thing I do on Steemit that seems to get bad press. I use upvote bots. I can say from experience so far, there is barely if any profit in this endeavor. The positive side if any to bots is some form of exposure, and for me having absolutely nothing to put into Steemit, the result of bid upvoting is a higher amount of SP steadily being accrued. I am a young up and comer, slowly learning and working through my own stubborn thinking of what works and what doesn't.
I can definitely say the upside to being poor is that I am pushed to try new things to see what the result might be. I have nothing to lose, so I theorize on possible plays so to speak. So far I am committed to maintain my activity and even if painfully slowly building up SP, SBD, Steem, I feel it is not for naught.
This is a long term platform, and one that is huge in potential. The crypto scene is down of late, and for some that is a huge bonus to get in now while the values are low. This is a time to buy and wait for that high. The blockchain and cryptocurrencies are not going anywhere no matter how much flak is thrown at them.
All press is good press, let people badmouth and fear what they do not understand, it only inspires the curious minds out there to do their own research to find out for themselves. We got a lot of brilliant hearts and minds in this game. Trust that things pull through and if you educate yourself enough, and make informed moves, you will bank on it.
So coming from a poor ass broke person, stay vigilant, be willing to learn, and ride this wave into the history books, cause the crypto boom begins this year and creates the new tech crypto millionaires making waves and changing entire social structures and infrastructure. Just look at what Steem is causing so far as a simple example of how these blockchain technologies are influencing and shifting how humanity views and deals with money.
We can make it flow by our very creative potential force that resides within us all. Keep dreaming, keep Steeming forward!
