Eating at "Arrels" restaurant - Part 1 (The place and appetizers) 👍👍👍
This is a signature cuisine restaurant with 19 courses closed tasting menu (Arrels menu) at €65 price, drinks not included. Currently they have ⭐4.6 rating in Google Maps and my personal rating was ⭐5. Vicky Sevilla, Head Chef and owner of this restaurant, was awarded in 2021 with 1 Repsol sun, with the Bib Gourmand distinction by Michelin guide, meaning this badge that this restaurant has a very good price/quality ratio and is included in the guide of the 55 Best Restaurants in the Valencian Community, for many consecutive years.
This young chef who learned from great chefs such as Susi Díaz (La Finca) or Begoña Rodrigo (La Salita), opened her first restaurant when she was only 25 years old and already in 2018 won the Young Promise award of the Valencian Community. From a personal point of view, she is very nice, close and humble.
The place is beautiful since the restaurant occupies the old stables of the palace of a Duke, dating from the 16th century, which still preserves two Gothic arches: one Mozarabic and the other Romanesque.
