A quick look behind the scenes at Page 3 of EMPTY CODE – "The Chains".
This page focuses on Mickey's physical state—his torso bound in heavy iron shackles, fresh cuts on his skin, and his stomach growling in the dark. I spent a good chunk of time testing out different chain brushes in IbisPaint to see which ones actually looked like heavy restraints rather than decorative chains. Layering them up and adjusting the red lighting really helped lock in that heavy, claustrophobic atmosphere.
