A quick look at the behind-the-scenes creation process for Page 2 of EMPTY CODE – "The Face".

For this page, I really wanted to zoom in on Mickey's reaction as his eyes snap open—focusing on the sweat, the bruises, and that initial hit of raw fear and confusion as he realizes where he is. Capturing that exact expression took quite a bit of tweaking with the shading and line art, but seeing the full process come together in the timelapse is always satisfying!
