The inspiration for "Darkness Bloom" struck me during my recent walks around town. I was just captivated by the everyday beauty that surrounds us, that feeling of pure joy in being alive. 💖
Here's a little peek into my creative process: I started by drawing the character on MediBang Paint Pro, focusing first on the eyes – experimenting with a new technique I'd just learned from a picture. Then came the coloring, bringing the outfits and everything else to life.
Before moving to PicsArt, I finalized the scene in MediBang Paint Pro, adding the background and extra details to the character and environment.
From there, I digitally transformed the image, playing with the brightness, hue, and contrast to give it that darker, nocturnal feel. The final touches involved some cool filters on PicsArt and a little magic with GIF Maker. 🌃
