The thing I like to do most in this world - is laugh. I tried to think of SOMETHING else that I like to do more. and nope.... really - it's laughing. Isn't the actual practice sorta funny when you think about it? You think about something humorous, and then your eyes close, your smile spreads, and you push air rhythmically out of your lungs until tears come and stars twinkle behind your eyes - that is, if it's a really good laugh. Why does THAT reaction feel so good?
Other things can feel good - even, really good.
But laughter is the best medicine of all. I can't count how many times a good bout of giggling, wheezing, and general side-splitting cackles have completely reversed my foul mood into lightness.
It's even been known to turn around some of the deep, dark abysses lower phases that seem to come fairly regularly with minds like mine. The most important people in my life have been able to trigger giggles with me instantaneously. The MVPs can pull out the Muttley laugh. (yes. it's exactly like Muttley)
I'm not sure what life would be like without laughter. I just know I'm thankful that mine is filled to the brim and spilling over with it!
