I absolutely love clouds. They are just so magical and fantastical and extraordinary to observe. I love how they move and change and just seem to hypnotize you moment by moment.
In storms, I love the power.
During foggy days, I love the mystery.
On clear days, I love how they hide!
But one of my favorite ways to see a cloud - is from above! When I used to live on Palomar Mountain in San Diego - we would CONSTANTLY be looking down on a sea of clouds. It was SO enthralling and never ever got old! But these days, I occasionally look down on clouds from our mountain - but more often than not - I have to be in a plane to get the best views.

Don't those three shots in succession look like ocean waves rolling in??? I'm telling you hahaha I couldn't stop staring out the window at the beauty! I'm just like a little girl when I'm sitting in the window seat of a plane. No matter how long the plane ride is - the clouds are always a moving picture for you to enjoy!!
I thought this one was kinda neat too! It's hared to tell here - but there are three levels of clouds. Some we are soaring over - some we are flying through - and some are above us! When you're on the ground looking up - it's really difficult to differentiate between all of the layers - but when you're at 36,000 feet... you can really get the best bird's eye view! hehehee
When the sun is setting - the clouds take on that pinkish hue - and it becomes a whole new scene to enjoy!
Now.. I don't spend my whole life up in the sky. hehehe Of course, I love to look at clouds from the ground too.
Take a look at this next one - doesn't it look like a painting??? Just look at the beauty of the splotchy clouds breaking apart for the sun! The shades of blue are just so serene!
And this one was just so majestic! Look at how the light is breaking through those clouds and the rays of light are just swooping out like wings!!!!
You can't really see very well here - but there is a sun dog in the left side of the sky. I did take another picture but sometimes its best to just view it with your eyes and capture the memory in your mind! :)
Walking out a little farther I had a nice clearing - so you could see more of the sky on display! Just look how pretty the palm trees look silhouetted against the sky!! :)
