Our dev is very humble. He will probably avoid this post like the plague because he doesn't like any kind of recognition. He likes to do his work quietly in the background and doesn't like to acknowledge how amazing we all think he is. Do not pay attention to any of his self-deprecating comments. He is AMAZING. Theeeee ennnnnnd! 😊

Of course, I try to honor his desire to stay in the background, but sometimes I just have to shout it from the rooftops that @penderis is amazing! (I'm sure he will try to downvote this post now hahaha)

Alright, we're going to have several updates that we're announcing over the next week or so, let's share the first!

During testing mode, we have been giving all of our testers the same standard amount of tokens for testing daily with us. This has been our gift to them based on their willingness to show up and show their dedication. Those tokens have gone out over 2 years, through a manual process that has worked fine, but not as efficiently as we'd like. Certainly not something that we've wanted for future scalability. And, this was on the very long "to-do list" for our hard-working dev!

JUST SO YOU KNOW, DREEMERS...

We will VERY SOON be coming OUT of testing mode, and you can get a sneak peek of what that means FOR YOU in this post!

First

Step by step instructions on how to claim your tokens (and LEVELS) from now on. You MIGHT have been claiming levels, and you MIGHT have just done it because... "well. It's there. I can claim. Let me claim." 😂

Yes, but WHY do you do it?

I don't know. It's there, so I should probably just claim it. hehehe 🤨

Well, yes, you SHOULD. 🤩 Claiming levels will make you INCREASE your level. Up until now, that hasn't had ANY effect on how you earn DREEM tokens. It has all been part of the testing in the background. But now? All of you that have been claiming - great - you should have SEEN that your level increases over time, and you will now EARN based on that level. (don't get too used to that level.... a new update is coming EXTREMELY soon!)

But now, when you claim levels - you can ALSO see that you claim your tokens as well.

Just as when you are on Hive, you EARN tokens, but they do not actually affect your account until you CLAIM. You're very familiar with this process, now it applies to your DREEM tokens as well 😍

Head to your PROFILE page.

Click on MY PAGE (at the top) to be taken to your profile page. You can NOW see that you have DREEM Rewards on your page. You can see your wallet, with your balance and a MANAGE button that will allow you to withdraw. You will IN THE FUTURE, be able to do more than just withdraw your tokens, so stay tuned... (hint hint, tipping other dreemers!!)

You can see from the stars all over that page that we have a lot more to share - but for now - let's keep it all about the CLAIM option!

Look at the next familiar image...

After you're finished curating and ranking your 5 random posts for the day on DreemPort, you will NOW see how many tokens that you've earned (based on your level... woo hoo!!) and you will be able to CLAIM your new level AND your earned DREEM.

I did so, and as you can see - the claim was successful!
Now let's go back to our profile page and click on MANAGE and see where it takes us.

You can see your current balance that is held ON DreemPort - and if you'd like to transfer that to your HIVE wallet - please do! Just go ahead and click on WITHDRAW, and it will be sent to the Hive username that you have registered with DreemPort!

and... I did withdraw 1 token (just to show you!) and you can see below - that the action to withdraw was queued in the system, and when I check my transactions, it shows in my Hive Engine wallet, almost immediately!

Now - what about those levels?

I will go into MUCH greater detail about this in a post in the immediate future, but for now - I'll just show you three examples. And I'll give you a little "behind the scenes" look at the inner workings of DreemPort

Names have been removed - but as you can see - the higher your level, the more you earn on each post you curate. The details on the SPECIFICS will be in ANOTHER post on HOW this is determined, and it's a pretty slick way! But just know this... the higher, the better.

Each ID there is one of the posts they've curated, and how many tokens they earned beside it. You can see - EACH dreemer gets a different selection of posts - and that's what helps us to determine the TRUE value of each post weighed against as MANY different posts submitted each day. We think this is the BEST way to evaluate fairly, accurately, and randomly!

We have a few dreemers who simply stopped claiming levels. This is fine! You don't HAVE to claim them. But you will be paid your rewards based on your levels. If you choose to leave your levels low, your rewards will remain lower than what you actually have the power to earn.

So... they're yours! You earned them! Claim them! 🤗

We actually have some amazing dreemers that should be well into Level 13. hehe but... they stopped claiming. Still have time to claim them! You won't earn anything extra for PAST curations. They've already been paid out. But you can claim them ALL today to update your level and your earning power for TOMORROW!!

As I said before - don't get TOO comfy with those levels.... everything is about to change on DreemPort when we come out of testing! 😋 But don't you worry - we NEVER forget about the people who have been dedicated from the start. You will absolutely be recognized for everything you've done for us! And even for newer, dedicated testers??? You won't be forgotten either! 🤗
