Greetings Hive DIY!

My daughter loves Christmas, in fact she enjoys most of our traditional holidays as it gives her ample opportunity to craft her heart out .

We moved a few years ago to a new country and left most of our holiday ornaments and bric a beach behind.

We‘ve had a few sparcely decorated holidays but this year she is inspired to create a beautiful handmade Christmas. Of course this means I too am now committed to creating a handmade Christmas as well.
It all began a few weeks back when the nearly complete condos, across the lane, started to be populated with new tenants. And one day someone placed a box from a dryer and another from a brand new range by the bin.
It was like someone
dropped a bag of gold at our doorstep. Giddy she hollered, calling us down, imploring we fetch the prize.

Then she started cutting and cutting and cutting some more. Today I finally had a moment to spend some time helping her. - - - - -

It’s quite adorable. We found it a perch, left to run errands and upon our return, Tree was there and we both felt a sort of comfort.
If there is any interest I can write out a tutorial. We found the inspiration on Pinterest.

Peace
