AFRI-TUNES WEEK #14 || "BANG BANG" AFROBEAT IMPROVISATION | By DrAySax
Groove, feel, flow, missed beats... I love when these elements are well packaged in music. When practicing on my instrument, it's always what I look forward to including in my musical vocabulary.
Ever since I stumbled upon afrobeat and the possiblities of jazz improvisation on its groove, I always explored it at every possible opportunity.
More often than not, I always play an element of afrobeat in almost every live performance I do.
I wanted to explore some other aspect of afro sounds for this week, but I could not resist this beat when I found it, so I decided to put my slice of sax touch on the track.
I'm sure you'll bob your head at some point listening to this. I did bob my head listening to this over and over again after producing it.
Enjoy!
I hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks for Listening!
