People often ask me why I don’t go out much, almost never actually. No matter the reason, they always have preconceived ideas, after all, I’m just an antisocial weirdo who likes the dark. And well, I don’t know about weird, but I do like dark places, and I suppose that I’m a little unfriendly. Ok, a lot unfriendly.
But that isn’t the reason. You see, I live in a tropical country, sunny almost all year around, with “winters” that are pretty much just an occasional rain between the constant sunbathing. Most people love that, they love the sun and the beaches, and they seem to always be in a “summer” mood.
I see all that and feel like I was definitely born in the wrong place. I’m more of an “autumn” mood, maybe even “winter”, but not summer. And what characteristic does autumn and winter have that summer and spring don’t?: a lack of sun.
If there is sun, there is heat, if there is heat, there is sweat, and I HATE to get sweaty. That is also part of the reason I’m seen as some kind of snob, as if I didn’t also live on a poor neighborhood. Point is, why go out with so much heat outside?, why get sweaty for others if I could be fresh and do my stuff in my room?, may all the gods bless the AC inventor.
