There's not much to say or at least I have not many ideas of what I could tell you about this. I like colors but should I say in a particular own way. Maybe something(someone) looks colourful for me while for you has no special color interest. You only need to look around to notice every one has it's own sense of color, their own preferences or likes, some are obsessive and others like me are "open color minded".
A dark grey scene of a cloudy day could be full of colourful scenes but maybe you wouldn't agree me. That's the magic of colors, they trigger different and sometimes odd responses on people.
