I joined Steemit in October 2016 and remained active for almost all of 2017.

Here is what I consider to be the highlights of this year:

  • launched steem.supply on May 22nd, now it has an average daily traffic of more than 700 unique daily users and growing. It's becoming the de fact destination for serious Steemians looking to improve their activity. Started as a rewards monitoring tool, it evolved into a more powerful app, with content and social analytics areas that are helping authors to improve their consistency and effectiveness.
  • took a Steem break of almost one month in spring, during the "whales experiment". Although this step back was frowned upon by some of the prominent users and backers of the platform, I'm happy I did it. I spoke my mind, stood up for my core values and walked my talk, which is more important for me than the potential rewards I missed during that month or the witness support I lost in this process.
  • created 4 "30 days challenges" in which I helped hundreds of authors to create consistent writing habits.
  • reached 3600+ followers, thank you!
  • after going down to less than 5,000, I recovered back to 9,300 Steem Power, which is the exact amount I had at the beginning of the year. If this trend continues, I will be soon crossing the 10,000 limit, at which I think I may be a dolphin :)
  • wrote more than 5500 posts (articles + comments), which equals an average of 15 posts per day!

It was an absolutely amazing year. I joined this project when the total number of active accounts was about 5,000, now I think it's way over 45,000, a fabulous growth rate.

I have a few Steem related projects in the works right now, and hopefully next year they'll be ready to launch. Since some of them are depending on future features of Steem, like the Smart Media Tokens, I refrained from mentioning them publicly, but work has been done consistently in the background.

Which means I am fully committed to this project and confident in its future.

I want to end the year by thanking to all my followers who supported my work, by commenting, encouraging me or voting for my witness node.

May you have a fantabulous 2018!

And Steem on!
