Useful Cryptocurrency Links

Below is a list of useful links for people new to Cryptocurrencies & Bitcoin. Might be great for the seasoned miner too. I am by no means an expert in cryptocurrencies or a financial expert. I will try to update this article if I find more useful websites.

RIG PRICE CHECKING:
WHATTOMINE - lets you calculate what the best coins to mine for the hardware you use.
CRYPTUNIT - Similar to whattomine but focuses ONLY on cryptonight based coins.
CRYPTO COINZ - Dont use but its similar to Whattomine
COINWARZ - Only mention it because I see it a lot. Dislike since its not as easy as the others to use.

Price Watching:
COINGECKO - I personally like this site but i think Coinmarketcap is just as good
COINMARKETCAP
CRYPTOWAT - dont use but looks promising

Exchanges:
COINBASE - Limited coins and require tax payer info
CRYPTOPIA - Does not req tax payer info unless you want to increase your withdraw limit
POLONIEX - Requires tax payer info.
BITTREX - I dont use but hear its good.
TRADEOGRE - An exchange for crap coins. Seems to mainly support Cryptonight coins and a lot of NEW coins that have no other exchanges. Very rarely use myself.
CHANGELLY - Less of an exchange, more of a cryptocurrency Exchanger.
SHAPESHIFT - Less of an exchange, more of a cryptocurrency exchanger with higher fees

Multi Mining Pools: - I am listing only a few pools that exchange currencies for another
NICEHASH - has a nice miner software and auto exchanges to Bitcoin.
MININGPOOLHUB - Allows you to mine multiple coins and exchange for multiple coins.
MINERGATE - Not Recommended due to mining inefficiency. Has easy to setup software

MINING POOLS: - Non exchanging pools with Multiple coin options.
NANOPOOL - Has ETH, ETC, XMR, SIAcoin, PASCAL, and ETN - They also have a mobile app for monitoring pool.
CRYPTOKNIGHT.CC - Supports a lot of Crytponight coins.
FLYPOOL - ETH, ETC and ZEC. Also Supports SOLO ETH mining (Solo mining is not suggested unless you got a lot of hash rate)
ZPOOL.CA - Supports many algorithms. Dont use unless you understand how to setup your mining software.
UNIMINING - Supports many algorithms. Dont use unless you understand how to setup your mining software.

Easy To Setup Miners: - Mining software for those who want the easy route or have low end hardware.
NICEHASH - CPU/GPU mining. Auto Exchanges to bitcoin. Very Popular. You can use the bitcoins earned to buy Cloud Mining for other coins.
HONEYMINER
MINERGATE - CPU/GPU mining. Many different coins. I would suggest nicehash or honeyminer of this one.
KRYPTEX - CPU/GPU mining. Auto Exchanges to Bitcoin
AWESOME MINER - Not as easy to setup but works with almost any pool, almost any currency, and almost any newer CPU or Video card.

Cloud mining
NICEHASH - You can buy cloud mining from this site. Easy to use Program for mining. Auto Exchanges to Bitcoin
I am going to say this. Cloud mining has people who like it and people who don't. I personally don't cloud mine. NICEHASH is my recommendation for cloud mining. I know there are other good sites but i personally dont know of any that are not considered sketchy.

MINERFARM Dont have mining equipment and want the experience of mining? MINERFARM lets you experience mining without having to buy equipment. You can also withdraw the Bitcoins earned to a real bitcoin address.
CRYPTO NEWBIES

1. For those just getting into cryptocurrences: I am by no means an expert at cryptocurrencies. Dont get discouraged by the coins value going up and down. I have heard stories about having a hard time making money and selling everything because its not profitable. Pizza for 10,000 bitcoins or 800 litecoins valued at only $1000. If those people held onto those coins for a few years they would have been rich.
2. Exchanges, Offline wallets, and multicoin wallets: Exchanges are the worst place to store your coins long term unless your constantly trading. Its not recommended to mine directly to an exchange. Multicoin wallets can be great for being an easy central location for coins but some multicoin wallets have higher fees to withdraw and offer more expensive exchange rates. Security is as good as your password (same goes for an exchange). Offline wallets are your best storage but require multiple wallet programs (one for each coin). Those wallets also require constant updating and syncing with the network can take days. Great for those you mine and forget till the time is right to sell.
3. Easy to setup miners: Nicehash is one of the higher paying versions of these. Minergate is one of the lower paying. With most of these programs you are at the mercy of the company your using. They use their own pools, standard settings that may not be efficient, and you may not have a choice in coin to mine. They are however great for beginners and low end hardware miners.
4. Coingecko and Coinmarketcap are great websites for checking prices and Whattomine is a great website and determining what coins to mine for what hardware you have. Cryptunit works great for those with cpus and want to mine Cryptonight coins only.
5. Pools. Depends on your setup. Low end miners may take advantage of the easy to setup mining programs. Mid class miners might find MiningPoolHub a great site. High end miners do lots of research to find the perfect pool. Nanopool is a great site for highend miners.
