The Los Angeles Times offered this headline a week or so ago: "Being a Communist would no longer be cause for losing a state job under bill narrowly approved in Assembly", and Lloyd Billingsley's report led off with "Bay Area Democrat seeks a safe space for Stalinists".
Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, doesn't it? God forbid someone dedicated to the overthrow of the American Republic should be denied access to influence in LaLaLand! (ISIS, are you listening? Governor Moonbeam may have a place for you in his leftist madhouse, too.)

Bay Area Democrat Rob Bonta has authored AB 22, which repeals part of a law allowing state employees to be fired for being members of the Communist Party. Bonta, 44, earned his JD at Yale but like the old-line establishment media he betrays total ignorance of the Communist Party and why the state should never hire or retain any Communist Party members.
American Communists were “volunteer members of a militarized colonial service, pledged to carry out the decisions of our supreme rulers resident at Moscow anywhere in the world but particularly in the land we were colonizing for Communism, the United States.” That was Ben Gitlow, Communist Party candidate for vice-president in 1924 and 1928. The Soviets established the Communist International, the Comintern, to manage their parties in other countries.
“You have a politicization of the [intelligence] agencies that is resulting in leaks from anonymous unknown people and the intention is to take down a president,” Kucinich said, after Fox News host Sean Hannity asked him about the deep state and their attempts to undermine President Trump.
“Now, this is very dangerous to America. It’s a threat to our republic. It constitutes a clear and present danger to our way of life.”
A ranking Republican statesman this week told an off-the-record gathering that a “coup” attempt was in progress against President Donald Trump, with collusion between the largely Democratic media and Trump’s numerous enemies in the Republican Party. The object of the coup, the Republican leader added, was not impeachment, but the recruitment of a critical mass of Republican senators and congressmen to the claim that Trump was “unfit” for office and to force his resignation.
Former Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) — no Republican and definitely not a conservative — said what everyone in Washington knows but refuses to say: the “deep state” within the U.S. intelligence community is attempting to overthrow President Trump.
“This isn’t about one president, this is about the political process of the United States of America being under attack by intelligence agencies and individuals in those agencies, yes, as you said there might be good people in there, but there are certain individuals who are lifers who want to be able to direct the policy of the country.
And if the president stands in their way whether it’s a Democrat or Republican they’ll just try to run that person out.”
The goals of those who wish us to see them as “downtrodden,” “put upon” and “demeaned” because members of the US electorate were “stupid” in that they voted for now President Donald J. Trump are demanding that same president of the United States be removed (after just shy of four months in office) because they hate him. If we-the-people refuse to comply, these same unprincipled politicos have told us they will forge ahead with their unceasing shouts and Dem Congress members (and a few RINOs…notably John McCain) will continue their refusals to engage in their jobs and will, instead, buck up their undereducated and paid ‘troops’ to continue their rioting, burning and pillaging against anyone who opposes their dark vision for mankind’s future. They will continue to harass us all until we remove President Trump from office.
Make no mistake. Those who oppose individual freedom being replaced with the collective enslavement of group-think and actions are not pro-humanity. Those who want to control the human population via abortion and, likely, soon the regulation of the number of children allowed per family are not pro-human. Those who organize, spawn, foment and encourage violent attacks against any and all of their fellow citizens who disagree with their menacing and deviant ways are definitely not pro-humanity.
I repeat: If you aren't angry, you aren't paying attention.
