In the past few weeks I have been talking to a few friends about building a mining rig out of spare parts we have. This isn't something we are doing for money but more so just for a bit of fun and to learn more about the subject encase we ever do want to put some money in and build a real rig.
So to get to the point I am looking for some advice on how to actually connect up all the different parts and what would and wouldn't work together. The equipment we have is 3 or so laptops to tear apart but we completely sure of if or how we can take that and make a rig.
We also have an old PS4 that we can take apart, I know you cant mine on a PS4 itself but I couldn't find any info on weather you could take some of the parts out and add them to a rig.
I was also wondering if there are any smaller coins you guys mine or just any you have been watching recently?
