This post may seem a little counter-current and perhaps it is, but it is my most sincere opinion.

WEB3 is a hype (to not mean it is a lie)

Unlike WEB3 gurus, I don't think decentralization motivates people that much.

Discramer: I'm a huge fan of decentralization but I believe that true decentralization only exists in code, everything else is humans doing things with a mask of decentralization on their faces. Blockchain's code will remain.

To be honest, I believe people talk about decentralization but in fact they don't care to much about that.

People just want money.
This is not criticism, money pay bills and food!

What matters if someone decide to delete all your images? They still in your computer or mobile phone and you already get rewarded.
What matters if someone delete something that you write after you received $50?
What matters if someone delete your account after you made $1k?
You will just create a new one and start a new 1k bag.

What people think and don't say is, what matters is food, wealth or the new iPhone, not being censured.

Money matters above all and this is because I believe that Web3 will be a hype and will not attract many people.

I'm not saying decentralization is not good, it is! The match between humans and decentralization would be awesome! What I'm saying is, be the most decentralized you can be but don't just focus on that because where are humans there are always obscured interest not in compliance with decentralization and most importantly, don't tell people you're totally decentralized because you're lying and people don't like lies, except if you pay them to ignore the lies 🤑, again, money, is what matters.

If Web3 will be this, people will not leave YouTube, or Twitter, or Instagram.

Easy apps giving easy money will always prevail, no matter how much centralized they are.
