I no longer subscribe to the idea that anything is "too good to be true".
Recently have also been reminded a few times to dig deep to know what I'm getting into (the stuff nobody mentions) cover my assets, consider a range of future possibilities, and be prepared for them in advance. ugh. Sorry. Don't let anyone bring you down. Just be smart and ask any uncomfortable questions.
