This is a photo of the wall just next to my bed. I took this picture because it reminds me of how something which seems really boring and obvious to me (the wall I see everyday) actually has a lot of character. Very few people that I see in my life get to see this wall, and they miss the little cross-stitched boy, the print of the girl holding a cat, and my Oscar Wilde poster. If you were to take a picture of the wall next to your bed I’m sure I’d be surprised to find out what sort of a space you are surrounded by every day.

Also, this Polaroid is now tacked right in the middle of all these things. Taking pictures of the things in your house and hanging them above the objects you took the picture of is a practice I’ve shamelessly stolen from my friend Jordan. He hasn’t the silliest livingspace and I love it so much!
