En esta publicación mostrare la elaboración de una pulsera, utilizando un poco de hilo de gamuza en trenza y piel de serpiente.

In this publication I will show the elaboration of a bracelet, using a bit of suede thread in braid and snakeskin.

Materiales | Materials

Para este trabajo utilizamos los siguientes materiales:

For this work we use the following materials:

• 2 Hilo de gamuza en trenza color fucsia y azul rey (parte superior de la imagen) | 2 Fuchsia and royal blue chamois leather thread (upper part of image)

• 2 Hilo piel de serpiente (PS) número 2, color azul rey (parte inferior de la imagen) | 2 Snakeskin thread (SK) number 2, royal blue (bottom part of image)

• 1 Hilo piel de serpiente (PS) número 1, color fucsia.| 1 Snakeskin thread (SK) number 1, fuchsia

Procedemos a | We proceed to

Generalmente para este estilo de pulsera se cortan los hilos de gamuza a una longitud de 18cm, en este caso cortamos los hilos a una longitud de 20cm, y 15cm para el hilo de piel de serpiente N^o 1, el de color fucsia. Luego pasamos a lo siguiente:

Generally for this style of bracelet we cut the chamois leather threads to a length of 18cm, in this case we cut the threads to a length of 20cm, and 15cm for the snakeskin thread N ^o 1, the fuchsia colored one. Then we move on to the following:

• Unimos 3 hilos por un extremo, 2 de gamusa y uno de PS número 2. El extremo del hilo piel de serpiente azul debe sobresalir de la unión para hacer una argolla por encima de los otros 2 hilos.

We join 3 wires at one end, 2 of gamma and one of (SK) number 2. The end of the blue snakeskin thread should protrude from the joint to make a ring above the other 2 threads.

• Sujetamos la argolla con nuestro dedo pulgar, para enrollar con fuerza el hilo PS sobre los otros 2 hilos, hasta tapar la unión de estos 3.

We hold the ring with our thumb, to wrap the SK wire tightly around the other 2 wires, until the union of these 3 is covered.

• Pasamos el hilo PS restante por la argolla y estiramos fuertemente

Pass the remaining SK wire through the ring and pull it tight

• Cortamos el hilo restante de la unión y quemamos para sellar el nudo. Igualmente cortamos y quemamos la punta ultima del extremo.

We cut the remaining thread from the joint and burn it to seal the knot. We also cut and burn the last tip of the end.

• Repetimos el mismo proceso, por el otro extremo de los hilos de gamuza y así obtenemos la forma de la pulsera.

We repeat the same process, through the other end of the chamois threads and thus we obtain the shape of the bracelet.

• Para cerrar la pulsera utilizamos el hilo PS restante de color fucsia y hacemos un pequeño nudo de macrame (En otra publicación explico a detalle este nudo) que permite ajustar la abertura al tamaño de la muñeca.

To close the bracelet we use the remaining SK thread in fuchsia color and we make a small macrame knot (In another publication I explain in detail this knot) that allows to adjust the opening to the size of the wrist.

Finalizamos colocando un dije en forma de corazón que le da un acabado mas femenino y llamativo a nuestro accesorio, teneniendo así una pieza lista para lucir, como se muestra en la primera imagen.

We ended up placing a heart-shaped pendant that gives a more feminine and striking finish to our accessory, thus having a piece ready to wear, as shown in the first image.

Como pueden ver y leer, hacer estas pulseras es de suma facilidad, sin embargo es la practica lo que nos permite tener acabados pulcros y simetrías bien hechas.

As you can see and read, making these bracelets is very easy, however it is the practice that allows us to have clean finishes and well done symmetries.

Me gusta lo que hago, y procuro porque mi trabajo quede lo mejor posible, me encanta que las cosas queden bien hechas, es por eso que trato de cuidar los detalles. Aunque en el caso de escribir y publicar soy apenas una principiante, pero espero mejorar.

I like what I do, and I try to make my work look its best. I love that things are done well, that's why I try to take care of the details. Although in the case of writing and publishing I am just a beginner, but I hope to improve
