Estoy muy feliz de unirme a la nueva edición del Concurso fotográfico FOTOCELF, en esta oportunidad la temática es muy interesante y divertida: LUCES. Me encantan las luces y sobretodo como contrasta con la oscuridad, pero fotografiarlas no es nada fácil, más aún si no se cuenta con un buen dispositivo.
Las fotografías que elegí para este concurso corresponde al reflejo de las luces de uno de esos bombillos led giratorios que se usan sobretodo en discotecas o en fiestas. El mes pasado estuve en una reunión entre amigos y como no había nadie bailando en la pista, logre disfrutar de las figuras que creaba las luces de este bombillo en el suelo, logrando capturar estas imágenes.
I am very happy to join the new edition of the FOTOCELF Photo Contest, this time the theme is very interesting and fun: LIGHTS. I love lights and especially how it contrasts with the darkness, but photographing them is not easy, even more if you don't have a good device.
The photographs I chose for this contest correspond to the reflection of the lights of one of those rotating LED bulbs that are used especially in nightclubs or parties. Last month I was at a meeting with friends and as there was no one dancing on the dance floor, I managed to enjoy the figures created by the lights of this bulb on the floor, managing to capture these images.
Para esto active el modo nocturno de mi teléfono y apague el flash. Porque con el flash encendido se creaban estelas nada bonitas, tal vez por la calidad del teléfono sumado a mi poca experiencia y a que giraban realmente rápido. Sin embargo considero que obtuve mejores resultados así con el flash apagado.
Para obtener mejores resultados al fotografiar luces, sobre todo si se trata de luces nocturnas tengo entendido que es recomendable tomarlas con una velocidad de obturación baja, esto hace que el lente absorba la mayor cantidad de luz posible y un ISO alto. Aún no se cómo configurar la velocidad de obturación en mi teléfono, pero para estas fotografías use ISO 800.
For this I activated the night mode of my phone and turned off the flash. Because with the flash on it created trails that were not pretty at all, maybe because of the quality of the phone plus my little experience and the fact that they were spinning really fast. However I consider that I got better results with the flash off.
For best results when photographing lights, especially night lights, I understand that it is advisable to shoot them with a slow shutter speed, so that the lens absorbs as much light as possible, and a high ISO. I still don't know how to set the shutter speed on my phone, but for these pictures I used ISO 800.
