My mom's passion for her garden will always be something I will admire about her. On every visit to her house, I love to admire her flowers, especially in the morning when the dew hugs each petal. My mom takes such great care of these flowers, it even makes me a little jealous of them sometimes.
I think it's something that is very good for her, it's part of her lifestyle, calm and serene. Every day she has something to tell me about them, this one I got from so-and-so and this one I got from sultano's house. It's fun to listen to her and even a little touching.
I love it, because it keeps her mind busy, and it's a beautiful hobby. Although it is sometimes an added burden to her heavy workload in the field, life in the field is rewarding, but there is also a lot of effort behind it.
If there is one thing I want to learn from her, it is about flowers and how she takes care of them, I wish I could have a garden like hers. For now I plan to start preparing small pots and planting low-growing, low-maintenance plants in them.
These photos are from my last visit. As you can see she has a Christmas flower tree, but my favorites are the blue hydrangeas, I find them so beautiful and the purple bell shaped one is a beauty with a suede like texture that makes it so amazing and the orchid well it is our national flower as beautiful as Venezuela.
La pasión de mi mamá por su jardín, siempre será algo que admiraré de ella. En cada visita a su casa, me gusta admirar sus flores, especialmente por la mañana, cuando el rocío abraza cada pétalo. Mi mamá cuida tanto estas flores, que incluso a veces me hace sentir un poco celosa de ellas.
Creo que es algo que le hace muy bien, es parte de su estilo de vida, tranquilo y sereno. Todos los días tiene algo que contarme de ellas, esta me las regalo fulano y esta las traje de la casa de sultano. Es divertido escucharla e incluso algo conmovedor.
Me encanta, porque mantiene su mente ocupada, y es un pasatiempo hermoso. Aunque a veces es un peso más a su fuerte carga de trabajo en el campo, la vida en el campo es gratificante, pero también hay mucho esfuerzo detrás de ella.
Si algo quiero aprender de ella, es acerca de las flores y como las cuida, ojalá pueda tener un jardín así como el de ella. Por ahora tengo planes de comenzar a preparar pequeñas macetas y sembrar en ellas plantas de bajo crecimiento y mantenimiento.
Estas fotos son de mi última visita. Como observan tiene un árbol de la flor de Navidad, pero mis favoritas son las hortensias azules, me parecen tan hermosas y la morada en forma de campana es una belleza con una textura como la de la gamuza que la hacen tan increíble y la orquídea bueno es nuestra flor nacional tan bella como Venezuela.
