Privacy gets more and more important the more transparent we get for governments and other institutions.
Monero is kind of an always there, but niche currency at present and it is likely that it will never reach the marketcap of the big players like Bitcoin or Ethereum.
Anyways, I like it because it for what it is made... definitely a long term hold and security bet for future...
