Well our race season is officially over but that does not stop us. The day after the dust settles we are already out in the garage pulling the motor out of the A mod. This one is the 427 CID small block chevy that we turn to 7400 rpm.
That is some heavy duty hardware up on that top end of the motor and the bottom end is twice as badass. This one is my motor and all in all I have about 7 grand in parts including the aftermarket Dart block. We did all the labor and machining. If you bought this engine outright from an engine builder it would be about $24,000 - $30,000
