In the past 5 years both my parents have passed away and the grieving process has been rough. A friend of mine went for holidays last summer in Newfoundland and visited a Butterfly Sanctuary and said it was so beautiful and peaceful. The owner of the sanctuary shared a story about how so many of the visitors had shared stories of how Butterflies had given them so much closure as they believed they where spirits of loved ones returning to let them know they where fine and their spirit was right here with them. There was so many stories that Lloyd Hollett (owner) decided to do a book of short stories of all the stories he had heard. My friend bought me the book and I read it last summer. It was exactly what I needed to help with my grieving and I have lent out this book to several of my friends and ask them to write their name in the front of the book once they have read it.

Just wanted to share this post if you or anyone you know is having trouble with grieving. I recommend this book as a great read and a great gift.

BUTTERFLY MESSANGER

Butterfly Messengers is a collection of personal stories from people who have had special encounters with butterflies, stories that involve a beautiful butterfly and the passing of a loved one. After hearing so many people describe their encounters with “spiritual” butterflies, Lloyd Hollett, owner of the world-renowned Newfoundland Insectarium, decided to put the stories together in a compilation. This book is the result of his efforts. It is a collection of stories from people throughout Canada and the United States, with the majority coming from Newfoundland and Labrador.
